Rust Wipe Schedule Explained (And Why BiWeekly Works)

Look, some server owners will write you a goddamn thesis on why their wipe schedule is perfectly optimized for player retention and seasonal lunar cycles or whatever.

Here's ours: It's simple because I'm lazy.

The Schedule

3x Server: Wipes twice weekly - Sundays and Thursdays

BiWeekly Server: Every other Thursday

Trainer Server: We don't wipe this one unless we absolutely have to

Why This Actually Works

Here's the thing - automation makes wiping servers completely brainless. Scripts handle it. No drama, no staying up late clicking buttons like an idiot.

The only thing that actually matters? Fresh maps.

That's it. We make sure both the 3x and biweekly get new terrain to explore, new monuments to learn, new bases to build. Everything else is just people overthinking it.

The 3x gets wiped more often because it's a 3x - shit gets built fast, progression is quick, and people want that fresh start rush more frequently.

The biweekly gives you time to actually establish something without feeling like you're running on a treadmill.

And the trainer? That's for practice. Wiping a practice server defeats the whole fucking point.

"But What About Optimal Player Cycles and—"

Stop. You're overthinking it.

Players know when wipes are. They show up when they want to play. We keep maps fresh and servers stable. That's what matters.

If you want to argue about wipe philosophy in Discord, go for it. We'll be there. But this schedule works because it's consistent, predictable, and we're not trying to game theory our way into your playtime.
