After seven years of development hell, a Riot Games cancellation, and a dramatic founder rescue mission, Hytale finally dropped into early access today. And yeah, we're already hosting it.

What's Hytale?

If you've been living under a rock: it's a block-based sandbox RPG from the team that built the original Minecraft Hypixel server. Think Minecraft's building and exploration, but with actual RPG combat, procedurally generated dungeons, boss fights, and modding tools that don't make you want to throw your PC out a window.

The game literally launched today in its true early-access form - rough edges, bugs, unbalanced loot and all. Over 100 NPCs, thousands of items and blocks, but it's messy. The devs are upfront about it. We respect that.

Why We're In

The Hytale story sold us. Original founders bought their game back from Riot, went back to their older "legacy" engine instead of chasing some perfect cross-platform dream, and shipped it. They chose playable over perfect. They're self-funded for the next decade and committed to their original 2018 vision.

That's our kind of people.

Plus, deep modding support is baked in from day one. Not tacked on, not restricted - it's core to the game. Community-run servers are encouraged, not just tolerated. Sound familiar?

What to Expect

Combat is way more developed than Minecraft - charged attacks, quick strikes, magic spells. Exploration spans procedurally generated regions with distinct biomes, dungeon crawls, and actual boss encounters. Creative mode gives you the tools to build whatever you want without the survival grind.

And yeah, it's early access for real. Expect bugs. Expect broken shit. Expect things to change fast as the devs push updates. That's part of the deal.
